I don’t like Monday’s very much. As I was driving to work this morning I was aware of the negative thoughts in my head fighting to get the upper hand. I knew that if I allowed that to continue, I would have a miserable day, and I didn’t want that.
I tried an objective approach and reflected I had no valid reason to be negative. I decided that my presence today would be quiet, yet friendly (warm). I love it when I am in control of my behaviour. A friend once said that often, all we are required to do is to keep breathing! So true!
So, I didn’t allow any negative thinking to continue and I responded positively to those around me (whether I felt like it or not). I actually ended up having a good day 🙂
