We seem to be attracting a variety of wildlife in our home. I thought it might be fun to put them all together in one blog. (Apologies if you have seen them all before in previous blogs). Whenever possible we transport them back outside and avoid harming them in the process 🙂
Do you know what the chunky looking spiders are?
I am sorry to say I don’t know. I did get a book out from the library a while back and it seems that none of them are dangerous though!
I might be wrong, but it looks like a type of orbweaver. They aren’t dangerous.
You’ve assembled quite a lovely little menagerie here, haven’t you? 🙂 But hats off to you for taking the time to gently escort the creepy crawlies outside!
Thanks for your thoughts on this :-). I do love nature but sometimes I would prefer it stayed outside!
Interesting pictures you’ve posted of the crawlies.
Creepy crawlies are so much easier for me to deal with than . . . slithering snakes.
I was always scared of snakes, but never spiders even though we had redbacks in our garden, which are dangerous. It’s so nice to see the collection of wildlife you get visiting.
Thanks for visiting :-). We haven’t had any snakes this year so far. It is natural bush behind our property hence the amount of wildlife. We did have a tiger snake the year before last so I always keep an eye out for them!
