It would be easy to jump to the conclusion that my state of mind was melancholic when I took these photos.
In actual fact I had a wonderful weekend of solitude in Hopetoun in Western Australia. It felt like I had the beach to myself (I did) and I spent the weekend just relaxing. I remember enjoying licorice ice-cream, chocolate bullets and reading a girlie magazine while staying at a lovely rammed earth holiday unit.
The pic says to me – I came to this world alone, and will leave with nothing by my side.
thanks for sharing your thoughts on this ๐

I see the blue ocean under the mountain top. Though, few crows are hanging around. -) Thanks for the visit and like.
Good to revisit your older posts. I especially enjoy your photos of the rural… I’d love to visit the Kimberly some time! Vast, open… just what I need! ๐
