One of my goals for 2016 was to learn how to edit videos. Today I sat down and had a go at it with some short videos I took in February 2016 when we did the circuit from home to Perth, Kalgoorlie, Esperance and home again. It starts off with the Super Pit at Kalgoorlie Gold MIne.
I know I have a long way to go but it felt good to learn the basicsΒ :). It is only a very short video and you may notice the salmon coloured gum trees – one of my favourite species of gum tree.
Go you!
I hesitated to watch your first effort . . . for fear I would be seasick from hand swaying, etc. But I enjoyed it AND the soundtrack ~> “you better knock, on wood” “It feels like thunder and lightning.”
Thanks Nancy! I haven’t really tackled the audio side of it yet :). That was coming from a CD in the car.
I love the video Rainee, the road in the middle and trees on the sides, it looks gorgeous. Awesome video. Good luck on your next one. π
Thanks Ranu for your kind words π
You’re way ahead of me. Well done on this challenge, learning something new and a successful post. Look forward to future videos on your blog.
Thanks Ruth. It took me a long time to get started on it. I thought it would be too difficult but like most things, once you make a start it gets easier π
The only way to learn something new is to start. And you did. Brava! I was unaware you drive and the left side of the road. Now I know. π
Thanks for viewing it Eric! Interesting about our different travel customs…when I see American drivers (on TV) on the right side of the road I marvel at how they can do that π
The sentiment is reciprocal. π
Looks like you’re having fun!! π
Always great to learn something new. I am determined to not let technology beat me π
