A Little Bit of Love

Sometimes it is hard to come to terms with the increasing rhetoric of hate and fear that is found in society. Has the world always been like this? When has it become OK to vilify people because of their religion, race, gender …

The challenge, as I see it, is to remain hopeful that there is more good than bad in people and not to respond to hateful attitudes in a way that fuels them to grow but to remain optimistic that love will overcome.

  1. Has the world always been like this?
    Yes.

It’s been the way of the world for eons, Rainee. Only back when, we gave the vilification names like the “Salem Witch Hunt” or the “Spanish Inquisition” and honored terrorists names like “Vlad the Impaler.”

We are moving in the right direction. Albeit slowly.

  2. Promising thought and prospect, Lorraine. Actions today will yield tomorrow’s outcomes. To Nancy’s view, we are moving in the right direction. It’s just challenging to see with chaos swirling.
