Many pubs in Australia have heritage value. They may not be on an official register but they are an important part of our history. I have included the Busselton Jetty among this disparate collection as it is one of the main heritage sites in South West Australia.

The Herbert Hoover photo surprised me . . . didn’t know he’d spent time in Australia digging for GOLD.

I don’t think many Australians know that either. Gwalia is a very remote community in the desert of Western Australia. I was lucky to visit there when I was working in the region.
