In my garden

I got the camera out yesterday and took a few snaps of my garden. I haven’t tended it much in a while but with sunshine and rain it seems to be thriving. We have our first day of Winter on Saturday!

Can you find three herbs and guess what they are? There is oregano and thyme.

We had a short break from Philosophy but start again tomorrow discussing Simone de Beauvoir and Existentialism. Should be interesting πŸ™‚

  1. I was gonna say parsley and rosemary… and guess at the third… a few options… the tiny three-leaf in the one plant looks like a spring herb (sour) that goes well with fish… can’t think of the name. Then, how about aloe vera? Or… I hope you’ve got a few dandelions in there somewhere! πŸ˜‰
Then… there’s a plant that looks like a South African succulent that is loved by elephants! Maybe not a herb but the fine tips work well in salads – promise! πŸ™‚

    • Sorry I am slow to respond Vossey. Thanks for your comments as always. I am intrigued that elephants might like to eat plants in my garden. I will have to keep watch! The other herb was oregano – it is growing like a ground cover – is that the one you were thinking of? Cheers πŸ™‚

    • Thanks for visiting Vossie! You are always welcome. No good excuse for not writing but glad to get a prompt to get back into it! Have a good week!
